Our students train and deliver their best on race day.

The Woodside district has a proud sporting culture that we at Woodside Primary do our best to build upon.  We put everybody on the team, not just the selected best.

Our Kanga Cricket team has been very competitive for a number of years and we always do well at cross country running and athletics.  Almost all of our students are involved in local sport and this is just one way that they contribute to their strong local community.

Our students are healthy and this is maintained by our healthy eating policies and innovative school lunch menu.

Our swimming programme features a day at our own Woodside Beach where students get the chance to paddle in the surf under the close supervision of our S.L.S.C. life guards. The whole school travels to Sale's indoor heated pool to participate in our swimming program five times in Term 4.

Each day the whole school get together at 12.30 to participate in our fitness program. At this time it is wonderful to see the interaction between our younger and older students as they work together in games.

Bailey even made the state finals in triple jump.  What an effort!

Find out why Woodside Primary School students achieve their very best on the sporting field.
