Woodside Primary School recently
planted a Lone Pine which is a direct descendant from the Lone Pine at
Gallipoli. It was planted in a moving ceremony attended by a large
number of local veterans. It has been planted in a lovely fenced
area in a quieter spot in the playground to provide a living place of
reflection.
After the ceremony, our Senior
Students delighted in serving afternoon tea to our distinguished guests.
