Woodside Primary School sees itself as a real community 'hub'. Our students, are very community minded and the school is always ready to support community groups and events. Examples include the Tarra Festival and Yarram Eisteddfod. Of course this support works both ways and we are proud of the enthusiastic support we receive in return. Woodside Playgroup meet every Wednesday morning between 9 & 12am at the Woodside Community Hall.
The play group is very popular and gives children and families the opportunity to socialise and be part of the community.
There is no joining fee but families are asked to contribute $2 each week. Families are also encouraged to become members of playgroup Victoria.

The Yarram Sub-Branch of the Returned services league meet on the 4th Thursday of every month at 2:00pm at the Yarram Club in commercial road. New members are always welcome and with your membership for only an extra $2 you can become a social member of the Yarram Club.
